Head Teacher's Welcome

Welcome to our school website. We hope you find all the information you need and gain a real sense of what makes our school such a special place to learn and grow. If you would like to visit us and see our school in action, please do get in touch on 01604 740307 to arrange an appointment. We would be delighted to welcome you.

As Headteacher of Guilsborough C of E Primary School, part of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust, I feel incredibly proud and privileged to lead such a caring, vibrant and successful village school. At the heart of everything we do is a strong belief that education is a partnership between school, home and the wider community. Our commitment to Achieving More Together reflects our belief that when children, families, staff, the Church and the wider community work collaboratively, every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

Our vision, Building Brighter Futures, underpins all that we do. Rooted in our Christian values, we strive to provide a nurturing and inspiring environment where children feel safe, happy and valued. We want every child to develop a love of learning, build confidence and resilience, and discover their unique talents and strengths. By combining high expectations with excellent care and support, we help our pupils flourish both academically and personally.

Throughout their time with us, children are encouraged to be curious, creative and ambitious. They develop the knowledge, skills and character needed to become confident communicators, thoughtful problem-solvers and responsible members of society. We are committed to ensuring that every child leaves us with wonderful memories, lasting friendships and a strong foundation for the next stage of their education.

Our dedicated staff work closely with families to create the very best opportunities for every child. Together, through our shared vision of Building Brighter Futures and our commitment to Achieving More Together, we build strong relationships and a genuine sense of belonging, ensuring that all members of our school community feel valued, supported and inspired to succeed.

By nurturing each child's intellectual, physical, spiritual and social development, we lay firm foundations for lifelong learning and help our children grow into confident, compassionate and responsible young people, ready to embrace the opportunities and challenges of the future.
